Sous Vide Honey Glazed Carrots are as delicious as carrots can get. Even fresh carrots taste good, but when you add some butter, some honey and when you treat all that in a sous vide bath for 40-45 min then you get an amazingly tasty carrots that you can use as a side dish or just eat it as a snack or entree.
Sous Vide Honey Glazed Carrots
- 300 g Carrots, peeled
- 66 g unsalted butter, cubed
- 34 g honey
- 2 g cinnamon
- 24 g Roasted hazelnuts, coarsely chopped
- sea salt
Preheat your water bath to 180°F.
Combine the carrots, butter, honey and cinnamon in a vacuum bag* and seal.
Cook for 45 minutes.
Using tongs, carefully remove the carrots from the Ziploc bag and place atop the yogurt. Drizzle the liquid contents of the bag over the carrots. Finish with a sprinkle of chopped, roasted hazelnuts and flaky sea salt.
